# The tenants of Carnival Gardens in Salfin, Boksburg, Ekurhuleni are requesting the intervention of the Gauteng Rental Housing Tribunal. This is in relation to 888 apartment units being affected by repeated electricity disconnections and interruptions to the water supply, due to alleged non-payment of municipal accounts by the managing agent, Instratin Properties. Residents’ representative Mbali Dlamini says this is despite tenants purchasing and paying for electricity:
