# CapeNature will introduce new fees for commercial filming at reserves across the Western Cape from the first of next month. The new tariff structure will charge productions according to their crew size, with a new category for major productions with more than 100 people. Fees will also increase for permits, base camps and environmental control officers. The organisation’s CEO Ashley Naidoo says the changes will help cover the costs of filming while keeping mountains, forests and coastal areas open to local and international productions.
