Cape Town traffic officers issue 54 fines to drivers not carrying their valid licences [SOUND]

# The City of Cape Town says it is alarmed by the number of people driving without valid licences or proof of a valid licence. During an operation in the Cape Town CBD last Friday, traffic officers recorded 164 transgressions, 54 were motorists who were not able to provide a driver’s licence.
