Cape Town Tourism recommended as Destination Marketing Organisation for another 3-years [SOUND]

# The Mayoral Committee has recommended the appointment of Cape Town Tourism as the metro’s official Destination Marketing Organisation for a further three years. The tourism sector contributed an estimated 27.3-billion-rand to Cape Town’s economy in 2023 while supporting approximately 91-thousand direct jobs. Mayoral committee member for Economic Growth, James Vos, says the role of the DMO includes delivering destination management and marketing services to continue boosting visitor arrivals:
