# The City of Cape Town’s Water and Sanitation Directorate says it replaced more than 117-kilometre of sewer pipes, exceeding its annual target. The metro has invested over 523-million-rand in replacing ageing water and sanitation infrastructure, as part of its ongoing strategy to modernise services and maintain critical services.
