Cape Town surpasses sewer infrastructure upgrade target for 2024/2025 [SOUND]

# The City of Cape Town’s Water and Sanitation Directorate says it replaced more than 117-kilometre of sewer pipes, exceeding its annual target. The metro has invested over 523-million-rand in replacing ageing water and sanitation infrastructure, as part of its ongoing strategy to modernise services and maintain critical services. Mayoral committee member for Water and Sanitation, Zahid Badroodien, says they are improving system reliability and strengthening the sanitation network:
