# The residents of New Horizons in Pelican Park has condemned the City of Cape Town’s latest attempt to demolish part of their homes. Resident spokesperson Lorraine Heunis says there are two-thousand-469 families affected by the city’s racist decision. She says they were allocated RDP homes between ten and 12 years ago after being chosen from the City’s waiting list.
