Cape Town Mobility records its highest-ever capital expenditure with over R2.54 billion spent on roads [SOUND]

# The City of Cape Town’s Urban Mobility Directorate has achieved its highest ever capital expenditure for the past financial year. Over 2.54-billion-rand has been spent on improving roads and walkways, and improving road capacity. An additional 1.633-billion-rand has been spent on building new infrastructure for the MyCiTi buses that will start operating on routes between the metro-south east and Claremont and Wynberg next year.
