# The City of Cape Town’s Health Department says just over 56-million-rand in capital budget allocation has been earmarked for various upgrades to clinics, environmental health facilities, and general security measures. This is contained in the draft budget which is currently open for public comment. The department’s spokesperson, Anthea Hartzenberg, says some upgrades include a new courtyard roof to increase the waiting area at Matthew Goniwe Community Day Centre in Khayelitsha, and extra storey extension at Tafelsig Clinic in Mitchells Plain:
