# The City of Cape Town has condemned reckless driving and illegal racing following a law enforcement operation in Sea Point. The metro’s Ghost Squad conducted the operation along Beach Road after complaints of wheel spinning, reckless driving and racing during sunset park-off events. One suspect was arrested, and three vehicles were impounded. Mayoral committee member for Safety and Security, JP Smith, says the suspect was among 474 people arrested by law enforcement officers over the past week:
