Cape Town addresses thousands of outstanding road and pavement projects [SOUND]

# The City of Cape Town says it has addressed 85-percent of verified outstanding road and pavement projects linked to water and sanitation repairs from the 2025/26 financial year. As of the 15th of October, 2-thousand-335 repairs still need to be done. Mayoral Committee Member for Water and Sanitation, Zahid Badroodien, says progress is also being made on the older backlog, with 97-percent of the projects from the 2024/25 financial year completed:
