# The South African Cabin Crew Association has called for accountability from Airports Company South Africa following a security breach at OR Tambo Airport. A passenger boarded a flight to Ethiopia with two training hand grenades in checked luggage, only discovered upon arrival. ACSA has since terminated its contract with Aviation Coordination Services, responsible for Hold Baggage Screening. The association’s Christopher Shabangu condemned the breach, urging a thorough investigation and accountability as a two-million-rand fine was imposed by the Civil Aviation Authority.
