Brink criticises Tshwane’s budget for prioritising water tankers and security

# DA Tshwane leader Cilliers Brink has slammed the city’s first budget under the ANC-EFF-ActionSA coalition, accusing them of budgeting for dry taps. He points to a 64-percent increase in water tanker allocations and a 103-percent rise in security spending, while cutting service delivery budgets. Brink also criticises the introduction of a new tax and highlights delays in essential projects like the Hammanskraal water initiative, claiming the city’s focus is on contractors, not residents.
