# Build One South Africa announced a formal merger with the People’s Prosperity Movement ahead of the 2026 local government elections. BOSA spokesperson Roger Solomons states that PPM will no longer function as an independent party, and BOSA will fully integrate its leaders into its structures. He says the move aims to strengthen reform-minded leadership and build a capable state. He adds that PPM and other officials will join BOSA’s leadership framework.
