Border Management confirms over 50 disciplinary cases handled in last quarter [SOUND]

# Border Management Authority Commissioner Michael Masiapato says significant progress has been made in tackling fraud and corruption in the border and immigration sector. Speaking at the OR Tambo International Airport, Masiapato confirmed that the BMA handled 57 disciplinary cases between July and September, with 17 officials dismissed, two receiving final warnings and one suspended without pay. Thirty-three cases remain ongoing. The Department of Home Affairs finalised 42 misconduct cases:
