# The ANC in Cape Town says it is concerned about the continued use of virtual council meetings by the metro and the Speaker of Council. It has now been almost a year since the last physical council sitting was held. The ANC’s Judy-Ann Stevens says virtual meetings continue to weaken robust debate, limit accountability and make it easier for the DA administration to manage and suppress opposition participation in council:
