Alliance welcomes arrests in alleged Knysna municipal contract kickbacks [SOUND]

# The Alliance of Citizens for Change has welcomed the arrest of former Knysna mayor Thando Matika and acting municipal manager Boy Ngubo and acting chief financial officer Busisiwe Lubelwana over alleged kickbacks linked to a security contract. The alliance’s Masizole Mnqasela calls for an independent investigation, the protection of witnesses and the preservation of procurement records.
