AfriForum warns holidaymakers against festive season accommodation scams [SOUND]

# AfriForum urges South Africans to be alert to holiday scams as the festive season approaches. Scammers are using fake accommodation adverts, cloned websites and fraudulent travel agents to trick people into paying for holidays that do not exist. AfriForum’s Jacques Broodryk says more than 48 families reportedly lost five-million-rand in a holiday scam last year.
