# ActionSA has slammed the DA in Ekurhuleni for spreading false claims about electricity tariffs. This follows a council meeting where the DA accused the party of backing tariff hikes as part of an ANC-EFF coalition. ActionSA’s Ekurhuleni Caucus leader, Phillip Dolo, says the party supported suspending fixed charges on A2 residential users. He says the DA’s proposal to scrap all tariffs was illegal.
