# ActionSA’s Lerato Ngobeni has condemned the setting on fire of Germiston’s Home Affairs office during an eviction protest in Ekurhuleni. Two arrests have been made. Ngobeni told Newzroom Afrika that the eviction of over 400 families from Pharoe Park followed proper procedures due to illegal occupation and nonpayment of rent, rates, and taxes. A court order was granted on 26 June. She stressed residents must meet their financial obligations to the municipality:
