# ActionSA in Ekurhuleni has welcomed the decision to insource key municipal services, particularly for essential workers like cleaners, security personnel, and waste collectors. The metro will insource essential services, 700 permanent cleaners and 290 permanent Ekurhuleni Metropolitan Police Department officers, who will look after strategic offices and buildings.
