Gauteng Community Safety Department condemns alleged corruption by traffic wardens [SOUND]

# The Gauteng Department of Community Safety has noted with serious concern the arrest of two traffic wardens accused of extortion and corruption in Benoni. It is alleged they left their duty posts, used a vehicle with false number plates, and demanded four-thousand-rand from a domestic worker to avoid arrest. The department’s Ofentse Morwane says the alleged conduct is a serious abuse of authority:
