Gauteng COGTA monitors water supply during Rand Water maintenance [SOUND]

# Gauteng MEC for Cooperative Governance and Traditional Affairs and Infrastructure Development, Jacob Mamabolo, has conducted oversight visits to communities affected by Rand Water’s planned maintenance. The work has caused reduced water pressure and temporary interruptions in parts of Johannesburg and Emfuleni. Gauteng’s COGTA spokesperson Theo Nkonki says more than 300-members of the provincial A-Team have been deployed to monitor conditions and support municipalities while water tankers are deployed to affected areas:
