# President Cyril Ramaphosa has expressed appreciation after receiving the second interim report from the Madlanga Commission of Inquiry. The commission, chaired by retired Constitutional Court Justice Mbuyiseli Madlanga, was established in July 2025 to investigate corruption and interference within the criminal justice system. Presidency spokesperson Vincent Magwenya says the president will study the report and expects any suspected criminal conduct identified by the commission to be referred for prosecution:
