# Constitutional Court deputy president Justice Dunstan Mlambo has praised outgoing Constitutional Court Justice Zukisa Tshiqi for her dedication and contribution to South Africa’s judiciary and Constitution for the past 21 years. Tshiqi began her legal career in the late 1980s, joined the Johannesburg High Court in 2005, later the Supreme Court of Appeal, and the Constitutional Court in 2019. Mlambo described Tshiqi as a thoughtful and respected leader of justice:
