Parliament evidence leaders make adverse findings against Senzo Mchunu

# Parliament’s ad hoc committee investigating police corruption has made adverse findings against Police minister Senzo Mchunu, who is currently on special leave. The report found Mchunu issued a directive to disband the political killings task team without proper consultation and sent the instruction to a junior official instead of the national police commissioner. It further suggests the task team’s work in exposing an alleged criminal syndicate within law enforcement may have influenced the decision. The final report will be submitted to the National Assembly next month.
