# Gauteng MEC for Human Settlements, Tasneem Motara, handed over houses to deserving beneficiaries in Sokhulumi, Tshwane, yesterday. This forms part of ongoing efforts to accelerate housing delivery, unlock project bottlenecks, and restore dignity to communities through sustainable human settlements. The department’s spokesperson, Terry-Ann van Eck, says the Sokhulumi Project is expected to deliver 265 houses upon completion:
