# The Tshwane Metro Police Department, together with the National Traffic Police, conducted a coordinated operation at the R80 Highway and Bremer Street, where 31 vehicles were impounded. A further 18 mini buses and four e-hailing vehicles were impounded for operating contrary to the conditions of the National Land Transport Act. TMPD’s spokesperson, Puleng Motholo, says they are committed to their mandate of safeguarding the lives of residents:
