# The City of Tshwane has launched the Stinkwater and Nuwe Eersterust Area road and stormwater infrastructure upgrade in Ward 14, Region 2. The metro says this project is a direct response to the long-standing challenge of inadequate roads and stormwater infrastructure in the area, which has resulted in the flooding of homes and properties during rainy seasons. The upgrade will include kerb inlets, speed humps and road signs. It adds that this upgrade will bring lasting relief to residents and improve access, safety, and dignity in the community.
