# The Gauteng Department of Health says it is implementing infrastructure, staffing and operational interventions at Dr Yusuf Dadoo Hospital. The hospital is facing mounting debt, failing infrastructure, and severe staff shortages, which are placing immense pressure on healthcare services and patient care. The facility has reportedly accumulated debt of more than 18.4-million-rand from the 2024/2025 budget.
