# The City of Cape Town says it will continue visiting communities as service delivery efforts progress through its Housing City Tour. Mayoral committee member for Human Settlements, Carl Pophaim, says the initiative is aimed at improving accessibility by taking human settlements services directly to communities across the metro. He says beneficiaries of City housing projects are selected in accordance with the City’s Housing Allocation Policy and Housing Needs Register to ensure housing opportunities are made available in a fair and transparent manner.
