South Africa recorded sharp decline in learner licence tests pass rate

# The Road Traffic Management Corporation has confirmed that South Africa’s learner’s licence tests pass rate had dropped from 68-perfect to 40-percent since the rollout of the computerised learner’s licence testing system across the country. Spokesperson Simon Zwane told News24 the system selects random questions from its database for each learner. He says the test is still split into the three sections as before, except that there are now 64 questions drawn from a database of around one-thousand-200 questions.
