POPCRU condemns unlawful disclosure of confidential medical information of members in the Western Cape

# The Police and Prisons Civil Rights Union has condemned the reckless circulation of highly confidential medical information belonging to two-thousand-978 SAPS employees in the Western Cape. POPCRU spokesperson, Richard Mamabolo says an internal Human Resource communication was circulated and accompanied by an attachment titled leave subcategory, which allegedly contained confidential medical information of members, including their illness diagnoses and sensitive personal medical details:
