Two killed and many injured after car ploughed into crowd in German city of Leipzig

# Two people are dead and several others were injured when a car ploughed into a crowd in the eastern German city of Leipzig. Mayor Burkhard Jung says the suspected perpetrator – who authorities identified as a 33-year-old German citizen – was arrested. He adds authorities are not yet clear about a motive. Police confirmed a car had struck several people in the central area before driving off. Authorities say 22 people were injured, including three seriously.
