# The Gauteng Roads and Transport Department says it is continuing to intensify its road safety enforcement through high-impact stop-and-search operations. In the week of 20 to 26 of this month, over 100 minibus taxis were discontinued. The department’s spokesperson, Lesiba Mpya, says enforcement efforts also targeted operators’ behaviour, issuing more than 900 manual and 772 electronic infringement notices:
