Restoration continues at the Central Substation in Joburg following a fire [SOUND]

# City Power says extensive repair work is underway at Central Substation in the Johannesburg CBD, following a fire incident over the weekend. The fire disrupted power supply to Marshalltown, Selby, and other nearby areas. City Power spokesperson Isaac Mangena says critical equipment within the substation was severely damaged and was removed, while other components also required replacement as part of the restoration process. He says they have restored about 75-percent of the power to the affected areas:
