# ActionSA has commended the progress of the City of Tshwane’s administration under mayor Nasiphi Moya on stabilising the water network. The party says the inability of the DA-led governments from 2016 to 2024 to fully fund and implement the Water and Wastewater Master Plan meant that key upgrades to wastewater treatment works such as Rooiwal, Baviaanspoort and Sunderland Ridge were delayed. ActionSA’s Henriette Frohlich says Moya’s administration has been focused on restoring control of the water network system since assuming office:
