He says now more than ever, residents need strong leadership that will halt the city’s continued decline. Mashsaba plans to reclaim over 600 hijacked, abandoned and derelict buildings, work with private sector to revitalise them to create affordable accommodation for the residents and students, to prioritise citizens for jobs, and to bring back jobs and investment into the city.
