Young Intelligent Minds slams parliamentary ad hoc committee as a failure

# The Young Intelligent Minds of South Africa labelled Parliament’s ad hoc committee probing alleged criminality, corruption, and political interference in the criminal justice system a failure and a waste of state resources. The advocacy group’s spokesperson Jeffrey Mabunda says the committee became politicised, lacked expertise, and failed to interrogate key witnesses and cases properly. He argues that the committee’s scope was too narrow, failing to hold important figures accountable and leaving unanswered questions.
