Cape Town’s Imizamo Yethu gets a sanitation boost [SOUND]

# The City of Cape Town’s Water and Sanitation Directorate says residents of Imizamo Yethu in Hout Bay are benefiting from a 1.8-million-rand investment in an upgraded sanitation service. During the past nine-months, the directorate has installed more than three-thousand-600 toilets across the metro’s informal settlements. Mayoral committee member for Water and Sanitation, Zahid Badroodien, says flush toilets are used where conditions allow, as they are easier to maintain and offer a more dignified service:
