# Western Cape premier Alan Winde has condemned the gang-related fatal shooting of three people in two separate incidents in Mitchells Plain yesterday. Two men aged 20 and 22 were killed at the Hazeldene taxi rank, while five others, including a six-year-old child, were injured. In the second incident, a 26-year-old woman was gunned down on Merrydale Street, Portlands. Winde says the deployment of the army needs to translate into tangible results:
