# Soil of Africa has called for collective action to address deep-rooted challenges in Mamelodi, including killings, gender-based violence and unemployment. The organisation chairperson King Bongani Ramontja says it will temporarily suspend a planned shutdown to engage community leaders, churches, civil society, business sectors, and political parties.
