Cosatu welcomes Eskom’s national smart meter rollout [SOUND]

# Cosatu has welcomed Eskom’s national rollout of smart meters. The project is part of the power utility’s broader plan to modernise the national grid. Over the next three years, Eskom aims to install 7.2 million smart meters across the country. The current phase of the rollout is expected to benefit about 800-thousand customers.
