# The DA is demanding answers from minister of Defence and Military Veterans, Angie Motshekga. This follows reports that a South African National Defence Force truck and crane drove one-thousand-200-kilometres from Oudtshoorn to Pretoria, to remove tree stumps at Major General Edward Mulaudzi’s private home in Waterkloof Ridge. The DA’s Chris Hattingh says they want full disclosure of the trip’s records and costs, adding that this is a clear abuse of public funds:
