DA Western Cape praises Social Development Department’s initiatives for vulnerable communities [SOUND]

# The DA in the Western Cape has welcomed the tabling of the provincial Department of Social Development’s annual report for the 2024/25 financial year. The report highlights critical investments in child welfare, gender-based violence support, and community development. The DA’s Wendy Kaizer-Philander says they are particularly encouraged by the department’s efforts to prioritise child welfare, with 12-thousand-398 children receiving essential support through developmental programmes, including children with disabilities:
