# Build One South Africa says the Department of Basic Education needs to account to Parliament for the 150-million-rand in underspending across several provincial departments in the 2024/2025 financial year. The majority of the money, which was intended for feeding schemes, education infrastructure and learning tools, was in the form of conditional grants and will now be returned to the National Revenue Fund.
