Ahmed Kathrada Foundation calls for jail time for corrupt prominent figures to restore public trust

# The Ahmed Kathrada Foundation says the National Prosecuting Authority will only regain public trust once prominent figures implicated in corruption are jailed. This follows an Special Investigating Unit an earlier raid at businessman Hangwani Maumela’s Sandton home, linked to the Tembisa Hospital multi-billion-rand tender scandal. Executive director Neeshan Bolton warned that politicians associating with corrupt individuals will face consequences at the ballot box and in court, stressing that justice must be visibly served.
