# Tshwane Metro Police arrested 25 illegal immigrants in Nellmapius, Pretoria East, Bronkhorstspruit and Ezithobeni yesterday. This was part of intensified operations aimed at curbing illegal immigration and related crimes. Twelve were arrested for being in the country without the required documentation, while 13 were apprehended for contravening the Immigration Act. TMPD spokesperson Isaac Mahamba says they are committed to maintaining law and order, ensuring public safety and promoting compliance with local regulations.
