38 motorists arrested for drunk driving in the past week in Cape Town [SOUND]

# In the past week, the City of Cape Town’s enforcement agencies made 197 arrests, including a near three-fold increase in arrests for drunk driving. Traffic officers arrested 38 motorists for driving under the influence, compared to 13 the previous week. A total of 183 public transport vehicles were impounded and one-thousand-159 warrants of arrest executed.
