# Hip-hop mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs has been sentenced to four years in prison, fined over eight-million-rand, and given five years of supervised release. A New York jury acquitted him of racketeering and sex trafficking but convicted him on two counts of transporting women for prostitution. US District Judge Arun Subramanian awarded credit for time already served since September 2024. Judge Subramanian said the sentence serves as a deterrent and sends a strong message that violence against women must be met with real accountability.
