AfriForum slams Higher Education Department over Unisa corruption inaction [SOUND]

# AfriForum’s Private Prosecution Unit has accused the Department of Higher Education and Training of ignoring widespread corruption at the University of SA while acting swiftly at Cape Town College. The unit is representing Unisa’s acting Chief Financial Officer, doctor Reshma Mathura, who was suspended in April last year following allegations of corruption. The unit’s Barry Bateman says they have exposed blatant mismanagement and abuses of power at Unisa, but no action has been taken:
